2000 students included in the i-Share biobank

Great news!

We are delighted to report that the bio-Share and MRi-Share studies have met their target of 2000 inclusions in June 2017! 2000 students have signed the informed consent to participate to the studies with brain MRI and blood sample, most of which have already been generated. We are very grateful to the students for their comittment and i-Share team for their exceptional investment.

This will meet the objectives of the SEGWAY study:

  1. Explore genetic determinants for MRI-markers of brain structure in young adults
  2. Explore the shared genetic basis of structural brain changes in young adults, and the modifying effect of vascular risk factors.
  3. Examine the clinical and functional significance of loci associated with structural brain phenotypes
